
01 The Brief
Our client approached Match My Venue just five weeks before their Christmas party, looking for a unique venue in Central London that could host a fully themed festive celebration for 120 guests.
The brief required:
An industrial-style venue with high ceilings
Space for immersive theming and guest interaction
A stage for live entertainment
Strong in-house AV capabilities
Five hours of unlimited drinks
Five street food bowl stations
A fully managed event solution
The client wanted more than simply a venue. They were looking for a creative partner to develop the event concept, source suppliers and manage delivery from start to finish.
02 Our Approach
With a Thursday evening date in early December, availability was the biggest challenge. The event fell during one of the busiest periods of the Christmas season, significantly limiting venue options across Central London.
We immediately began reviewing suitable venues and leveraged our industry network to identify spaces that met both the operational and creative requirements of the brief.
Within 24 hours we had:
Secured venue availability checks
Produced a shortlist of five suitable venues
Included a creative wildcard option
Developed initial theming concepts for each venue
Created a clear comparison for the client
Following venue presentations, we arranged site visits and supported the client through the final selection process.
03 Our Role
Working closely with the client, we transformed the venue into a fully immersive festive experience.
The event included:

04 The Event
Match My Venue acted as both venue finding agency and event management partner throughout the project.

Event theming and concept development
Production planning and logistics
Once the venue was secured, we developed the event running order and coordinated all suppliers involved in the delivery.
05 The Outcome
The event was a huge success, delivering a vibrant Christmas celebration that exceeded the client's expectations.
Guests responded positively to the atmosphere, entertainment and creative food experience, with feedback highlighting the quality of the event and attention to detail throughout.
