Bluebird Chelsea Restaurant
Bluebird Chelsea is a landmark restaurant, bar and event venue at 350 King’s Road. Housed within the former Bluebird Motor Company garage, the venue combines Art Deco-inspired interiors with a large first-floor restaurant, private dining rooms, bars and its well-known outdoor courtyard. The current venue-hire operation accommodates everything from intimate private dinners to exclusive events for up to 500 guests.
For events, Bluebird offers several distinctly different spaces rather than operating purely as a restaurant. The private rooms work well for corporate dinners, meetings and celebrations, while the Campbell Room provides a more flexible blank-canvas environment and exclusive hire of the first floor allows significantly larger receptions, dinners, weddings and parties.

Bluebird provides in-house food and beverage, private bars, event planning and tailored menus for group dining, receptions and private events. Its current event operation covers corporate events, weddings, celebrations and larger exclusive hires, with menus ranging from seated dining to canapés and bowl food.
The venue can also accommodate entertainment within appropriate spaces, with the Dining Rooms specifically marketed for DJs and bands. Bluebird operates late on Fridays and Saturdays, when its regular programme currently continues until 1am.

Why Hire
Bluebird works particularly well when an organiser wants the atmosphere and service of an established restaurant without being restricted to conventional restaurant layouts. Its range runs from a private dinner for around 30 guests to a 500-person reception, giving it considerably more flexibility than many restaurant-led venues.
The combination of Gallery and Beaufort is particularly useful because organisers can hire the rooms independently or combine them for larger events. The Campbell Room provides a different proposition again, offering a more adaptable environment for launches, parties and creative events.
For larger events, exclusive hire of the first-floor restaurant provides an immediately recognisable Chelsea setting with an established bar, high ceilings and capacity for up to 500 standing. The courtyard also makes Bluebird particularly attractive for summer events and indoor/outdoor receptions.
