About Venue

Located in the heart of Islington, the Business Design Centre is one of London's largest and most versatile exhibition and conference venues, offering over 6,000 square metres of flexible event space for conferences, exhibitions, trade shows, product launches and corporate events. Housed within a beautifully restored Victorian building, the venue combines historic industrial architecture with contemporary event facilities, creating an inspiring setting for events of every scale.

Originally built in 1862 as the Royal Agricultural Hall, the Business Design Centre has evolved into one of the capital's leading event destinations, hosting more than 300 events each year. The venue features a spectacular vaulted exhibition hall, multiple galleries, conference suites and meeting rooms that can accommodate everything from intimate board meetings to exhibitions attracting thousands of visitors.

Situated just a short walk from Angel Underground Station and King's Cross St Pancras, the venue offers excellent transport connections while providing one of London's most recognisable event environments.

Event Spaces

The Gallery Hall

The iconic central exhibition space spans over 2,000 square metres beneath the venue's impressive Victorian glazed roof. Suitable for exhibitions, conferences, product launches and gala events, the space can accommodate up to 2,000 guests.

Mezzanine Gallery

Overlooking the main exhibition floor, the Mezzanine provides additional exhibition, networking and hospitality space, ideal for receptions, breakout sessions and sponsor activations.

Auditorium

A dedicated conference auditorium suitable for keynote presentations, seminars and panel discussions, offering integrated AV facilities and flexible seating layouts.

Conference Centre

The venue's purpose-built Conference Centre comprises multiple meeting rooms and breakout spaces suitable for training sessions, workshops, seminars and executive meetings.

Boardrooms & Meeting Suites

A collection of contemporary meeting rooms accommodating small board meetings through to larger corporate workshops, with natural daylight and modern presentation technology.

Entire Venue
