Electric Brixton
Electric Brixton is an iconic live music, club and events venue in the heart of Brixton, South London. Originally opened as a cinema and theatre in 1913, the Grade II listed building later became the legendary Fridge nightclub before reopening as Electric Brixton following an extensive refurbishment.
The venue retains many of its original architectural features while incorporating the production infrastructure required for major contemporary events. A substantial stage, excellent sightlines, multiple bars and a large dance floor make it particularly well suited to live events, brand activations, product launches, corporate parties, awards, fashion events and experiential productions.
Electric Brixton operates across two levels and accommodates up to 1,700 guests for club-style events or approximately 1,500 for live shows. The upper level overlooks the main auditorium, creating strong sightlines throughout the venue while providing additional guest circulation and bar facilities.
Alongside its established programme of live music and club nights, Electric Brixton is available for private hire and has previously accommodated television recording, arts events and large-scale private productions.
