About Venue

Hallé St Peter’s is a beautifully restored Grade II listed former church in the heart of Ancoats, Manchester. Originally transformed into a rehearsal, recording and performance home for the Hallé, the venue now combines its elegant historic interior with the contemporary Oglesby Centre, creating a distinctive setting for conferences, meetings, dinners, receptions, performances and corporate events.

The venue offers four principal hireable spaces, ranging from the atmospheric main hall for up to 250 guests to modern meeting and breakout rooms within the adjoining extension. Events are supported by an experienced venue team, professional technical suppliers and in-house catering, allowing organisers to create anything from leadership meetings and workshops to conferences, awards dinners and private celebrations.

Event Spaces

St Peter’s

The venue’s principal event space retains the character of the original church, with high ceilings, elegant architectural details and a flexible open floor. It accommodates up to 250 theatre, 250 standing, 250 dinner, 160 cabaret or 50 boardroom guests, making it suitable for conferences, awards dinners, receptions, performances and corporate celebrations.

Victoria Wood Hall

A contemporary performance and meeting space within the Oglesby Centre, accommodating up to 100 theatre, 100 standing, 80 dinner, 60 cabaret or 40 boardroom guests. It works particularly well for conferences, presentations, workshops, private dining and breakout sessions.

Monument Room

An intimate meeting room for up to 30 theatre, 30 standing, 30 dinner, 15 cabaret or 12 boardroom guests. Ideal for executive meetings, interviews, training sessions and smaller private events.

Foyle Room / Hallé Kitchen

A bright and flexible hospitality space accommodating up to 120 standing, 120 theatre, 60 dinner or 60 cabaret guests. The room can support receptions, networking events, catering, workshops and medium-sized meetings.
