Gateshead Suite

The Gateshead Suite is the hotel's flagship event space and one of the largest hotel ballrooms in the North East. Accommodating up to 600 delegates theatre style, 500 guests for receptions and 480 guests for gala dinners, the suite benefits from a dedicated foyer, private bar and flexible layout. The space can be divided into three separate sections for smaller events.

Hillgate Suite

Part of the larger Gateshead Suite, Hillgate can operate independently for conferences, training events, exhibitions and dinners. The space accommodates up to 200 delegates theatre style.

Oakwellgate Suite

A flexible conference and event space ideal for presentations, seminars, networking events and corporate functions. Oakwellgate can accommodate up to 200 delegates.

Pipewellgate Suite

Offering similar capacities and flexibility to Hillgate and Oakwellgate, Pipewellgate is frequently used for conferences, breakout sessions, training programmes and receptions.

Tyne Suite

A versatile event space with river views suitable for meetings, private dining, workshops and networking events. The room accommodates up to 80 guests for receptions and 60 delegates theatre style.

Boardroom & Meeting Rooms

The hotel offers a further collection of dedicated meeting rooms and boardrooms suitable for interviews, workshops, syndicate sessions, training events and executive meetings. Many benefit from natural daylight and views across the River Tyne.
