ICC Birmingham
ICC Birmingham is one of the UK's leading purpose-built conference and events venues, located at Centenary Square in the heart of Birmingham. The venue offers a substantial collection of auditoria, conference halls, meeting rooms, executive rooms and exhibition areas, with capacities ranging from intimate board meetings to major conferences for 3,000 delegates.
The ICC is particularly well equipped for large and technically demanding events, with extensive in-house production, AV, graphics and catering capabilities. Flexible flat-floor halls, dedicated foyers, breakout rooms and executive meeting spaces allow the venue to accommodate conferences, exhibitions, awards dinners, product launches and multi-stream events within one complex.
Event Spaces
Hall 3
The ICC's largest event hall and its principal space for major conferences, exhibitions and dinners. The 3,050m² hall accommodates up to 3,000 theatre-style, 1,910 banquet, 1,379 cabaret or 1,044 classroom.
Hall 3 offers direct street-level vehicle access, flexible staging, extensive sound, lighting and presentation technology and four organiser offices/dressing rooms. For dinners, the flat-floor area accommodates 1,700 with a further 210 on the balcony.
Hall 1
A substantial purpose-built tiered auditorium accommodating 1,502 theatre-style, with the lower tier capable of operating independently for smaller audiences.
The auditorium features a large stage, 28-metre fly tower, sophisticated audio equipment, extensive stage lighting and direct vehicle access to the stage, making it particularly strong for conferences, keynote presentations, opening ceremonies and product or automotive launches.
Hall 4
One of the ICC's most versatile flat-floor event spaces, Hall 4 provides 806m² and accommodates 830 theatre-style, 620 banquet, 560 dinner dance, 413 cabaret, 440 classroom or receptions for up to 900 guests.
Unlike many of the larger halls, Hall 4 benefits from natural daylight, with blackout facilities when required. A demountable stage, dressing rooms, organiser's office, dance floor and goods lift make it particularly effective for conferences, exhibitions, awards dinners and corporate events.
Hall 11
A flexible 360m² conference and banqueting hall accommodating up to 345 theatre-style, 320 banquet, 175 cabaret, 188 classroom or 92 boardroom.
The room can divide into two smaller halls and has a substantial foyer suitable for registration, networking or a small exhibition.
Hall 8
A flexible 319m² hall accommodating up to 306 theatre-style, 280 banquet, 168 cabaret, 180 classroom or 100 boardroom, with receptions for approximately 400 guests.
Hall 8 can divide into two smaller conference spaces and includes a dedicated foyer and bar.
Hall 9
A dedicated conference and events hall providing 295m² and accommodating up to 300 theatre-style, 240 banquet, 175 cabaret, 170 classroom or 82 boardroom, with receptions for approximately 350 guests.
The room includes integrated conference technology, projection facilities, a dedicated foyer and bar.
Hall 7
A flexible smaller conference hall accommodating up to 140 theatre-style, 120 dinner, 77 cabaret, 70 classroom or 64 boardroom.
Hall 7 can be divided into two spaces, each accommodating approximately 60 theatre-style, making it particularly useful for breakout sessions.
Hall 6
The smallest of the principal conference halls, Hall 6 accommodates 120 theatre-style, 90 banquet, 63 cabaret, 70 classroom or 46 boardroom. It can also divide into two smaller spaces.
Executive Meeting Rooms
The ICC has a substantial collection of additional executive rooms suitable for standalone meetings, VIP areas, conference offices and breakout sessions.
Individual rooms accommodate groups from around 16 boardroom-style through to 50 theatre-style, with several benefiting from natural daylight.

Why Hire
ICC Birmingham is designed for events where scale, production and multiple spaces are important. Hall 3 alone can accommodate 3,000 theatre-style or 1,910 for banqueting, while the wider venue provides numerous additional halls and executive rooms for breakouts, workshops, exhibitions and supporting functions.
Its city-centre location is another major advantage. Unlike many large convention venues, delegates can walk from Birmingham's principal railway stations and have immediate access to the hotels, restaurants and entertainment of the city centre.
The combination makes the ICC particularly strong for national and international conferences where organisers need large-scale infrastructure without moving delegates to an out-of-town conference campus.
