Royal Armouries Museum
Royal Armouries Leeds combines a major national museum with a substantial purpose-built conference and events operation. Events can use the contemporary New Dock Hall, the flexible Royal Armouries Hall, dedicated conference and theatre spaces, and several museum galleries for receptions and dinners.
The venue is particularly strong for conferences, exhibitions, awards, gala dinners and corporate events because larger conventional event spaces can be combined with the museum's more unusual historic settings.

Royal Armouries provides in-house event catering through Royal Armouries Taste and production support through Royal Armouries Live, covering staging, lighting, AV and event branding. New Dock Hall provides extensive power and data connectivity, Wi-Fi, suspension points, blackout facilities and direct vehicle access for production and exhibition builds.
The venue provides accessible event spaces, lifts throughout the museum, accessible parking and provision for wheelchair users and mobility scooters. Several of the conference rooms have integrated presentation technology; Barton, Aire and Hotot include 85-inch LED displays with wireless/HDMI connectivity and integrated PA

Why Hire
Royal Armouries stands out because it provides both the practical infrastructure of a major conference and exhibition venue and the character of one of the UK's national museums. New Dock Hall alone accommodates 1,500 for receptions, 1,200 theatre-style or 1,100 for dinner, while the adjoining museum provides theatres, conference rooms and atmospheric galleries for breakout sessions, receptions and evening events.
For MMV, I'd definitely market the 1,500 indoor capacity rather than the 2,500 figure that appears on some of Royal Armouries' general marketing pages. Their current individual space data does not show a single indoor space taking 2,500, whereas New Dock Hall is clearly published at 1,500.
