The Dixon, Tower Bridge, Autograph Collection
The Dixon, Tower Bridge is a boutique Autograph Collection hotel housed within the Grade II listed former Tower Bridge Magistrates' Court, built in 1905. The building retains much of its Edwardian character, including original wood panelling, courtroom features and architectural details, combined with contemporary interiors and 193 bedrooms and suites.
For events, the hotel offers two dedicated meeting rooms — The Chambers and The Dock — alongside the Courtroom Bar and Shakedown restaurant for private and semi-private events. The Chambers is the principal conference room, while the restaurant and bar allow larger receptions and brand events of more than 100 guests.

Why Hire
The Dixon works particularly well for smaller events where character matters. Rather than conventional hotel meeting rooms, The Chambers and The Dock retain features from the building's former life as a Magistrates' Court, giving meetings and private dinners a much stronger sense of place.
The addition of Shakedown and the Courtroom Bar also makes the hotel more versatile than its two dedicated meeting rooms initially suggest. These spaces allow the venue to accommodate receptions, launches, media events and private celebrations for larger numbers, while the 193 bedrooms make residential events and group stays straightforward.

The Dixon is located at 211 Tooley Street, London SE1 2JX, close to Tower Bridge, More London, London Bridge and the River Thames. The hotel describes Tower Bridge as approximately a two-minute walk away and London Bridge as around 12 minutes on foot.
There is no hotel car park, but The Dixon currently has an arrangement offering guests a discount at Q-Park Tower Bridge on Gainsford Street.
