73 Waterloo is one of London's most distinctive event venues, occupying the beautifully restored Grade II* listed St John's Church directly opposite Waterloo Station. Following an award-winning transformation by Eric Parry Architects, the venue blends historic architecture with modern infrastructure, creating a unique destination for conferences, exhibitions, gala dinners, product launches, awards ceremonies and corporate celebrations.

Operated exclusively by Bovingdons, 73 Waterloo offers a collection of versatile event spaces including the magnificent Nave, the atmospheric Old Crypt, flexible breakout areas and a landscaped churchyard garden. Sustainability sits at the heart of the venue, with the building targeting net-zero carbon while supporting The Bridge at Waterloo charity and the local community.

Event Spaces

The Nave

The venue's spectacular main event space featuring soaring ceilings, natural daylight and contemporary AV facilities. Accommodates up to 500 standing, 400 theatre or 270 dinner guests, making it ideal for conferences, exhibitions, awards dinners, product launches and large corporate events.

The Forum

A bright and versatile event space accommodating 220 standing, 100 theatre or 80 dinner guests. Perfect for conferences, seminars, networking events and exhibitions.

Old Crypt

An atmospheric vaulted brick crypt offering one of London's most unusual event settings. Accommodates 140 standing or 40 dinner guests and is ideal for receptions, private dining, wine tastings and intimate corporate events.

Foyer

A welcoming reception space accommodating up to 200 standing guests. Ideal for registration, networking, welcome drinks and exhibition displays.

Octavia / Mendelssohn Room

A flexible meeting room accommodating 30 theatre or 25 standing guests, complete with AV facilities, webcam and display screen. Perfect for board meetings, interviews and breakout sessions.

Churchyard Garden

A beautifully landscaped outdoor space available for drinks receptions, BBQs, networking and summer events. The garden can accommodate up to 500 standing guests or be sectioned for more intimate gatherings
