Peckham Library
Peckham Library is one of South London's most recognisable contemporary buildings, offering meeting and event space in the centre of Peckham. Designed by Alsop & Störmer and opened in 2000, the building won the RIBA Stirling Prizefor its distinctive inverted L-shaped design and elevated library space.
Three spaces are available to hire: Pod 1 and Pod 2, each accommodating up to 50 people, and a separate two-person Meeting Pod for interviews, one-to-one meetings and independent working.
The larger Pods provide a considerably more interesting setting than a conventional community meeting room, with the building's unusual architecture forming part of the experience. WiFi, tables and chairs, flipcharts and access to kitchen facilities are available, with projectors also available to hire.

Peckham Library provides straightforward room hire with the essential facilities required for smaller meetings and events.
Pods 1 and 2 include WiFi, flipcharts, flexible tables and chairs, kitchen access and breakout space. Projectors can be hired separately, while portable induction loops are available.
Catering is not provided by the library. Hot food cannot be brought into the meeting spaces, although drinks, snacks, sandwiches and other finger food may be permitted with prior agreement.
Alcohol cannot be brought into or consumed anywhere within the premises.
