The Bottle Factory
The Bottle Factory is a restored Victorian warehouse and creative destination on Ossory Road, just off the Old Kent Road in South East London. Originally built in 1895 for J. Mills & Sons, the building was once used for the production of mineral water, lemonade and ginger beer and has been carefully restored while retaining its industrial character.
At the heart of the building is a dedicated 3,444 sq ft event space available for dry hire. Exposed concrete floors, original slim cast-iron columns, large timber loading doors and abundant natural daylight provide a distinctive blank-canvas setting for creative and corporate events.
The event space opens directly onto the building's cobbled courtyard, allowing events to incorporate an outdoor element alongside the main indoor space. Vehicle access and drive-in loading make the venue particularly practical for exhibitions, product launches, installations and production-heavy events.
The Bottle Factory is home to a wider community of makers and creative businesses, giving the venue an authentic working character rather than the feel of a conventional purpose-built event space.

The Bottle Factory operates as a dry-hire venue, allowing organisers considerable freedom over catering, production, styling and event delivery. A preferred supplier list is available covering AV, catering, security and event dressing, with suppliers familiar with the building and its requirements.
Unit 4 provides three-phase power, house ceiling lighting, Wi-Fi, toilets, showers and four large sliding access doors measuring approximately 2.6 metres wide by 3.2 metres high. Drive-in loading is available directly into the space, while limited onsite parking can be arranged subject to availability.
A professional kitchen and design-led gin bar operated by neighbouring Thames Distillers can also be hired at additional cost, providing further hospitality options for events.
