About Venue

The Renaissance at Kelham Hall is a magnificent Victorian stately home set within 42 acres of landscaped gardens and parkland just outside Newark in Nottinghamshire. Originally designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott, the venue combines historic architecture with modern event facilities, creating an exceptional setting for conferences, exhibitions, gala dinners, team building events and corporate celebrations.

With nine meeting and event spaces accommodating everything from executive board meetings to conferences and exhibitions for up to 1,000 delegates, the venue offers flexible packages, extensive outdoor space, complimentary parking and a dedicated events team. While not a traditional hotel, limited onsite accommodation is available for organisers, with additional partner hotels nearby.

Event Spaces

Great Hall

The venue's spectacular flagship space, accommodating up to 1,000 delegates. Featuring soaring Byzantine architecture, dramatic flying archways and stunning historic detailing, it is ideal for conferences, exhibitions, gala dinners, awards ceremonies, product launches and large corporate events.

Carriage Court

A contemporary event space accommodating up to 200 delegates, perfect for conferences, networking events, exhibitions, dinners and receptions. Positioned centrally within the hall, it provides excellent flexibility for standalone events or breakout space.

Music Room

One of Kelham Hall's finest state rooms, seating up to 200 delegates beneath an ornate vaulted ceiling with views across the grounds. Ideal for conferences, presentations, private dining and networking events.

Drawing Room

An elegant historic room accommodating up to 50 delegates, ideal for workshops, meetings, presentations and private dining in an intimate setting.

The Library

Featuring floor-to-ceiling bay windows overlooking the gardens, The Library accommodates up to 40 delegates and is well suited to board meetings, training sessions and workshops.

Estate Office

A prestigious boardroom for up to 12 delegates, perfect for executive meetings and interviews.

Gardens & Grounds

Set within 42 acres of landscaped grounds, the outdoor event spaces can accommodate festivals, team building activities, marquees, product launches and large-scale outdoor corporate events.
