Barts North Wing is one of London's most remarkable historic event venues, located within the Grade I-listed North Wing of St Bartholomew's Hospital in Smithfield. Following an extensive restoration, the venue combines stunning Georgian architecture with modern event facilities, offering an exceptional setting for conferences, gala dinners, weddings, presentations and private celebrations.

At the heart of the venue is the magnificent Great Hall, reached via the iconic Hogarth Stair, one of London's finest ceremonial staircases. Alongside a collection of elegant reception and meeting rooms, Barts North Wing provides a truly unique backdrop for prestigious corporate and private events in the heart of the City.

Event Spaces

The Great Hall

The venue's spectacular principal event space featuring ornate Georgian interiors, an elaborate plaster ceiling and the famous benefactors' walls. Accommodating up to 280 guests standing, 250 theatre, 160 dining or 150 cabaret, it is ideal for conferences, awards dinners, weddings, product launches and gala events.

Hogarth Stair

One of London's most impressive historic staircases, adorned with William Hogarth's famous paintings. Perfect for arrival receptions, drinks receptions, photography and creating a memorable guest experience.

Henry VIII Room

An intimate historic room accommodating up to 30 guests, ideal for executive meetings, private dining, ceremonies and VIP hospitality.

Treasurer's Room

An elegant Georgian reception room with natural daylight and period features, perfect for board meetings, private receptions and breakout sessions for up to 20 guests.

James Gibbs Dining Room & Sitting Room

Characterful heritage rooms used as green rooms, breakout spaces, VIP lounges or organiser offices alongside larger events in the Great Hall.
