About
BMA House
BMA House is a Grade II listed conference and events venue in the heart of Bloomsbury, combining historic architecture with extensive modern event facilities. Designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and home to the British Medical Association, the venue offers an impressive collection of spaces ranging from the grand Great Hall and Council Chamber to contemporary meeting rooms and two distinctive outdoor areas.
With spaces accommodating up to 320 guests for receptions, BMA House is particularly well suited to conferences, meetings, awards dinners, gala dinners, corporate receptions, weddings and summer events. Many rooms benefit from natural daylight, while integrated AV, on-site technical support and extensive breakout capacity allow the building to accommodate complex multi-room conferences as well as standalone events.

Why Hire
BMA House combines the architectural impact of a historic London venue with the practical infrastructure of a substantial conference centre. The Great Hall provides a genuine focal point for larger events, while the extensive collection of supporting rooms means organisers can run conferences requiring multiple simultaneous breakout sessions without moving delegates between venues.
Its outdoor spaces are another major advantage. Both the Courtyard and botanical Garden provide attractive settings for receptions and summer events, while rooms including Snow, Paget and the Garden Room can be combined with outdoor areas to create events that move naturally between spaces.
