The East Midlands Conference Centre is one of the UK's leading purpose-built conference and exhibition venues, located within the University of Nottingham's award-winning University Park Campus. Surrounded by 330 acres of landscaped parkland and lakes, the venue combines contemporary conference facilities with exceptional accessibility, making it an ideal destination for conferences, exhibitions, awards dinners, training programmes and corporate events.

The venue features 6 principal event spaces, 16 meeting rooms and facilities for up to 1,000 delegates. With a purpose-built conference theatre, large exhibition and banqueting suite, flexible meeting rooms, dedicated in-house AV team and direct access to The Orchard Hotel, the venue is perfectly suited to both day and residential events.

Event Spaces

Banqueting & Exhibition Suite

The venue's flagship event space accommodating up to 1,000 delegates theatre style, 588 for gala dinners or 50 exhibition stands. The space can be divided into Hall A and Hall B for greater flexibility, making it ideal for conferences, exhibitions, awards dinners, product launches and large corporate events.

Conference Theatre

A purpose-built tiered lecture theatre accommodating up to 441 delegates (or 80 with a flat floor configuration). Featuring professional presentation facilities and excellent sightlines, it is ideal for keynote presentations, conferences, seminars and annual meetings.

Conference Suites 1–4

Four flexible conference suites accommodating between 60 and 90 delegates individually, or up to 310 delegates when combined. Perfect for conferences, training events, workshops, presentations and breakout sessions.

Gallery Suites

Three naturally lit meeting rooms accommodating up to 50 delegates each. Suitable for workshops, meetings, training courses, private dining and breakout sessions.

Brailsford Suite

A contemporary meeting space accommodating up to 80 delegates theatre style. Ideal for seminars, workshops, presentations and networking events.

Executive Meeting Rooms

A collection of smaller meeting rooms and boardrooms accommodating between 10 and 50 delegates, suitable for interviews, executive meetings, syndicate sessions and training events.

Location and Access

Located within the University of Nottingham's University Park Campus, the venue is approximately 15 minutes from Nottingham city centre, 10 minutes from Junction 25 of the M1 and around 20 minutes from East Midlands Airport. The adjacent Orchard Hotel provides onsite accommodation for residential delegates.
