The Derby Conference Centre is a distinctive conference and events venue set within a beautifully restored Grade II listed former British Rail Training College. Combining elegant Art Deco architecture with modern conference facilities, the venue offers flexible event spaces, 50 ensuite bedrooms and extensive free parking, making it an ideal destination for conferences, meetings, training events, exhibitions and residential stays.

With 12 flexible meeting and event spaces, including the impressive Sunken Lounge and a range of boardrooms and conference suites, the venue caters for everything from executive meetings to conferences for 200 delegates. A dedicated events team, bespoke catering and excellent transport links complete the experience.

Stephenson & Euston Suite

The venue's largest conference space accommodates up to 200 delegates theatre and is ideal for conferences, exhibitions, presentations and corporate events.

Hamlyn Suite

An impressive Art Deco event space accommodating up to 140 delegates, perfect for conferences, seminars, awards presentations and training events.

Sunken Lounge

A unique feature of the venue, the Sunken Lounge is ideal for exhibitions, networking receptions, registration areas, job fairs and large presentations.

Location and Access

Located on London Road in Alvaston, just outside Derby city centre, the venue is easily accessible from the M1, A50 and A52. Derby Railway Station is approximately five minutes away by taxi, while East Midlands Airport is around 20 minutes by car. The venue also offers more than 300 free parking spaces.
