The Vox Conference Venue
The Vox Conference Venue is a contemporary, purpose-built conference and events venue located within Resorts World Birmingham on the NEC campus. Designed specifically for corporate events, conferences, dinners and large-scale meetings, it offers five highly flexible suites, three executive boardrooms and a substantial lakeside foyer, with capacity for up to 900 delegates.
Award-winning Skyfold walls allow the principal suites to be combined or divided quickly, giving organisers considerable flexibility across plenary sessions, breakouts, dining and networking. The venue also offers integrated AV, customisable lighting, complimentary WiFi and extensive in-house production support.
Event Spaces
Vox 1
A flexible 146m² suite accommodating up to 118 theatre-style, 60 banquet, 45 classroom, 42 cabaret or 48 boardroom. Vox 1 works particularly well as a standalone meeting room or as breakout space alongside a larger conference.
Vox 2
A larger 250m² event suite accommodating up to 200 theatre-style, 110 banquet, 105 cabaret, 100 classroom or 60 boardroom.
Vox 3
One of the venue's largest standalone suites, measuring 430m² and accommodating up to 420 theatre-style, 240 banquet, 196 cabaret, 165 classroom or 120 boardroom. It is particularly suited to mid-sized conferences, presentations and corporate dinners.
Vox 4
A 290m² event suite accommodating up to 200 theatre-style, 130 banquet, 126 cabaret, 105 classroom or 60 boardroom. It can operate independently or combine with Vox 5.
Vox 5
A flexible 142m² suite accommodating up to 121 theatre-style, 60 banquet, 42 cabaret, 40 classroom or 48 boardroom.
Vox 1 & 2
Combining the first two suites creates 395m² of event space accommodating up to 415 theatre-style, 190 banquet, 168 cabaret, 150 classroom or 120 boardroom.
Vox 1, 2 & 3
A substantial 847m² combined conference space accommodating up to 600 theatre-style, 520 banquet, 364 cabaret, 280 classroom or 132 boardroom.
Vox 3, 4 & 5
One of the venue's strongest large-event configurations, providing approximately 883m² and accommodating up to 900 theatre-style, 580 banquet, 385 cabaret, 330 classroom or 144 boardroom.
Full Vox Suite
Combining Vox 1–5 creates approximately 1,278m² of flexible event space. The full suite accommodates up to 900 theatre-style, 900 banquet, 630 cabaret, 470 classroom or 192 boardroom-style according to the venue's current capacity table.
The full suite is particularly strong for large conferences, awards dinners, gala events and major corporate functions where organisers need one substantial event environment alongside the adjoining foyer.
Boardroom 1
An 86m² executive meeting room accommodating up to 58 theatre-style, 50 banquet, 35 cabaret or 28 boardroom.
Boardroom 2
A 51m² meeting room accommodating up to 55 theatre-style, 50 banquet, 35 cabaret or 20 boardroom.
Boardroom 3
A smaller 40m² executive room accommodating up to 31 theatre-style, 30 banquet, 21 cabaret or 16 boardroom.
Lakeside Foyer
A large, light-filled foyer overlooking Pendigo Lake. The space is designed for networking, exhibitions, receptions, catering and registration, with large digital screens that can also be used for event content, branding or sponsorship.

The Vox has been designed specifically around the requirements of contemporary business events. Rather than adapting hotel ballrooms or multipurpose spaces, organisers have access to five purpose-built suites that can be combined into multiple configurations using Skyfold walls. This makes it particularly effective for conferences requiring a large plenary alongside breakout sessions, dining and networking.
