Japan House London is part of a global initiative led by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with two other Japan Houses located in Los Angeles and São Paulo.

Japan House London’s diverse rooms are available for hire to organisations, bodies and companies whose activities support and promote Japanese culture, society and business.
Event Spaces
The Hall
Located on the lower ground floor, The Hall is a contemporary, fully flexible event space designed to accommodate a wide range of corporate and cultural events. With retractable tiered seating, a large built-in projection screen and high-specification AV equipment, the space can be configured for conferences, seminars, presentations, film screenings, fashion shows, receptions, dinners and networking events.
The Hall accommodates up to 130 guests theatre style, 32 boardroom or 240 guests for fashion shows. Removing the tiered seating transforms the room into an open, adaptable space for receptions, private dining and informal gatherings.

The Library
Situated on the lower ground floor between the Gallery and The Hall, The Library offers a distinctive meeting space inspired by contemporary Japanese design and literature. Surrounded by carefully curated bookshelves, it provides a calm and creative setting for meetings, presentations, workshops, talks and tastings.
The Library accommodates up to 12 guests boardroom style or 24 guests theatre style and is equipped with modern presentation technology.

Tatami Room
Located on the first floor, the Tatami Room is a traditional Japanese-style meeting room designed within a contemporary setting. Offering an authentic experience inspired by Japanese culture, the space is ideal for executive meetings, private tastings, interviews and small workshops.
The room accommodates up to 8 guests. In keeping with Japanese tradition, guests are asked to remove their shoes before entering the room.

Situated on the Lower Ground Floor, in the central area between the Gallery and Hall, the Library is ideal for small meetings and more intimate talks, workshops and tastings.
Tatami Room
The Tatami Room is a Japanese-style space in a contemporary setting.
Situated on the First Floor, it provides the perfect location for smaller meetings, tastings, interviews, and photoshoots. (Please note that guests are required to remove their shoes to use this space, as is the custom in Japan.)
