About
Liverpool Town Hall
Liverpool Town Hall is one of the city's most significant historic buildings and one of the finest surviving 18th-century town halls in the country. Located in the heart of Liverpool's historic commercial district, the Grade I listed Georgian building provides an impressive setting for corporate events, dinners, receptions, conferences, ceremonies and private celebrations.
Home to the Lord Mayor of Liverpool, the Town Hall has played a central role in the city's civic history and has welcomed royalty, dignitaries and major figures throughout its history. Its interiors feature sweeping staircases, elaborate plasterwork, period fireplaces, paintings and magnificent crystal chandeliers.
A collection of individually designed event rooms provides options for both intimate and larger occasions. The Large Ballroom is the principal event space, accommodating up to 270 guests theatre style or 210 for a drinks reception and banquet. Smaller rooms including the Small Ballroom, East Reception and Dining Room can be used independently or to support larger events.
The historic Council Chamber provides a particularly distinctive setting for presentations, conferences and ceremonies, accommodating up to 220 guests theatre style.
