Macdonald Windsor Hotel is a four-star hotel and events venue in the heart of Royal Windsor, directly opposite Windsor Castle. Combining a prestigious town-centre location with 120 bedrooms and seven dedicated meeting and event rooms, the hotel is particularly well suited to corporate meetings, conferences, private dining, residential events, weddings and celebrations.
The hotel's meeting facilities range from executive boardrooms to the flexible Castle Suite, with capacity for events of up to 145 guests. Meeting spaces offer air conditioning, WiFi and modern AV facilities, with natural daylight available in key rooms. Its central Windsor position also provides excellent rail connections and convenient access to Heathrow Airport.
Event Spaces
Castle Suite
The hotel's principal event space, measuring approximately 144m² and accommodating up to 145 guests at maximum capacity. The suite can accommodate 110 theatre-style, 80 cabaret and 120 for banqueting/private dining, with a dropdown screen, LCD projector, PA system, natural daylight and air conditioning.
The Castle Suite can also be divided into Castle 1 and Castle 2, making it particularly useful for conferences requiring breakout space or events with separate sessions.
Castle 1
The larger section of the divided Castle Suite accommodates up to 70 theatre-style, 60 for banqueting, 40 cabaret, 35 classroom, 28 U-shape or 26 boardroom.
Castle 2
A flexible meeting and event room accommodating up to 40 theatre-style, 40 for banqueting, 30 cabaret, 25 classroom, 20 boardroom or 18 U-shape.
St George's Suite
Located on the ground floor, the St George's Suite measures approximately 63m² and accommodates up to 70 guests at maximum capacity. Layout capacities include 50 theatre-style, 46 banqueting, 35 cabaret, 35 classroom, 26 U-shapeand 22 boardroom. The room is also promoted for private dining and benefits from natural daylight, air conditioning and AV facilities.
Highgrove Boardroom
An executive first-floor boardroom offering natural daylight and views across Windsor's rooftops. The room accommodates approximately 21–22 delegates boardroom-style and features a large-screen TV with laptop connectivity and WiFi.
Kensington Boardroom
Similar in style to Highgrove, the Kensington Boardroom provides a dedicated executive setting for approximately 21–22 delegates, with natural daylight, rooftop views, WiFi and presentation technology.
Victoria Boardroom
A smaller dedicated boardroom accommodating up to 12 delegates, particularly suited to executive meetings, interviews and smaller breakout sessions.
Albert Boardroom
Another intimate meeting room accommodating up to 12 delegates boardroom-style, ideal for interviews, private meetings or use alongside one of the hotel's larger conference rooms.
