About Venue

Located on Shaftesbury Avenue in the heart of London's West End, Stone Nest is a striking Grade II listed former Welsh chapel transformed into one of the capital's most distinctive cultural and event venues. Blending Victorian architecture with contemporary design and creative programming, the venue offers an inspiring setting for conferences, brand activations, performances, private receptions, product launches and corporate events.

Originally built in 1888, the beautifully restored building retains its dramatic Gothic architecture, soaring ceilings and original stained-glass windows while incorporating modern production capabilities and flexible event infrastructure. The result is a unique blank-canvas venue that balances heritage character with contemporary versatility, making it ideal for organisations seeking an unforgettable event setting in central London.

Situated between Soho and Covent Garden, Stone Nest benefits from exceptional transport connections and places guests within easy reach of London's theatre district, restaurants and hotels.

Event Spaces

The Nave

The centrepiece of Stone Nest is its spectacular double-height Nave, where vaulted ceilings, original architectural detailing and dramatic natural light create an extraordinary atmosphere. The open-plan layout provides a highly adaptable blank canvas that can be transformed through staging, lighting and production design to suit everything from conferences and awards ceremonies to immersive experiences and elegant receptions.

The Gallery Level

Overlooking the main Nave, the Gallery provides an elevated perspective across the venue while offering a more intimate setting for networking, breakout sessions, VIP hospitality or production operations. The historic balcony architecture adds character while maintaining a visual connection with events taking place below.

Lower Ground Floor Studios

Located beneath the main hall, the lower level offers a collection of flexible studio-style spaces featuring exposed finishes and contemporary interiors. These adaptable rooms work well as green rooms, production offices, workshops, breakout spaces or smaller meetings, providing valuable support areas for larger event programmes.

Entrance Foyer

The welcoming entrance foyer combines original architectural features with modern finishes to create an impressive arrival experience. The space naturally lends itself to registration, welcome drinks, exhibitions or informal networking while setting the tone for events throughout the building.

Facilities and Services

Stone Nest offers professional production infrastructure, high-speed Wi-Fi, flexible staging opportunities, in-house event management, catering partnerships, breakout areas, exclusive hire options and adaptable spaces suitable for immersive experiences, conferences, performances and corporate events. The venue's blank-canvas approach allows each event to be uniquely designed around individual client requirements.

Location and Access

Situated on Shaftesbury Avenue between Soho and Covent Garden, Stone Nest enjoys an outstanding central London location within walking distance of Tottenham Court Road, Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus and Covent Garden stations. The venue offers step-free access to key event areas where required, while loading access for suppliers and production teams can be arranged in advance to support efficient event build and breakdown schedules.
