The History of Broadwick

Broadwick Group has established itself as a leading force in the live entertainment, venue management, and event experience industry. With a portfolio spanning more than 185,000 square metres of cultural space across the UK, Broadwick is known for its innovative approach to immersive events, creative spaces, and large-scale venue operations.

The company began as a pioneer in music and live entertainment, initially focusing on music festivals, pop-ups, and large-scale cultural events. Over the years, Broadwick expanded its portfolio, acquiring and developing some of the UK’s most unique event spaces, including Printworks London, The Beams, Depot Mayfield, and Drumsheds. Their venues are celebrated for their ability to host large-scale corporate events, live performances, brand activations, and immersive experiences.

Broadwick’s expertise in transforming industrial and historic spaces into high-energy, adaptable event destinations has made them a major player in the UK’s events and hospitality scene. The acquisition of Camm & Hooper marks another milestone in their continued growth, bringing a selection of prestigious, characterful venues under their management and further solidifying their influence in the corporate and private events sector.

The History of Camm & Hooper

Founded in 2013, Camm & Hooper quickly became one of London’s most prestigious event venue operators, specialising in luxury, high-end spaces with a strong emphasis on historic and architecturally significant buildings. The company set itself apart by curating bespoke event experiences, offering everything from corporate functions and weddings to high-profile brand activations, product launches, and private dining events.

With a focus on both historic and contemporary venues, Camm & Hooper carefully developed a portfolio of iconic London event spaces, including Banking Hall, OXO2, 26 Leake Street, and Victoria Bath House. Their expertise lay in blending heritage-rich venues with modern hospitality services, creating seamless, high-end experiences for clients across various industries.

The company became known for its tailored event production services, handling everything from catering and logistics to immersive branding and venue transformation. However, after facing financial challenges, Camm & Hooper underwent restructuring, leading to their acquisition by Broadwick Group. Now under new ownership, their legacy of premium hospitality and bespoke event management will continue, supported by Broadwick’s extensive network and expertise in the live events sector.

This acquisition ensures that Camm & Hooper’s iconic venues will remain at the forefront of London’s event scene, while benefiting from Broadwick Group’s innovative approach to immersive event experiences and large-scale venue management.
