BMA House Unveils Refreshed Paget Room Following Sustainable Refurbishment

London events venue BMA House has unveiled a refreshed look for its Paget Room, introducing a new interior scheme as part of ongoing improvements to the Grade II listed Bloomsbury venue.

The refurbishment brings deeper midnight blue and dark grey tones to the space, complementing the Paget Room’s original Spanish mahogany features and distinctive Lutyens windows. Public walkways and corridors surrounding the room have also been refreshed to create a more cohesive arrival experience for delegates and guests.

BMA House says sustainable suppliers were used throughout the project, continuing the venue’s established focus on reducing the environmental impact of its events and operations.

A New Look for the Paget Room

Located on the ground floor of BMA House, the Paget Room is one of the venue’s principal event spaces and can accommodate up to 160 guests for a reception, 156 theatre-style or 120 for dinner.

Its combination of period architecture and integrated event facilities makes the room suitable for conferences, meetings, exhibitions, dinners and receptions, while direct access to the venue’s Courtyard provides an additional outdoor space for event programmes.

The Paget Room can also be used alongside the neighbouring Snow Room as the Lutyens Suite, creating additional flexibility for conferences and events requiring separate plenary, breakout or catering areas.

The Design Council was among the first organisations to use the newly refreshed space following completion of the work.

Continuing Investment at BMA House

The latest refurbishment follows previous investment across BMA House’s event spaces, including improvements to the Garden Room designed to increase its flexibility and strengthen the connection between the indoor space and adjoining Garden.

Together, the improvements form part of the venue’s continued development of its meetings and events offering while retaining the architectural character of Sir Edwin Lutyens’ historic building.

Located in Tavistock Square, BMA House offers a collection of indoor and outdoor event spaces for conferences, meetings, dinners, receptions and corporate events in central London.
