Conference Aston Strengthens Leadership Team with Two Senior Appointments

Conference Aston has announced two key senior appointments as the Birmingham venue continues to invest in its operations, guest experience and conference offering.

Neil Wyatt has joined as General Manager of Catering and Housekeeping Services, while Curtis Holloway has been appointed Facilities Manager. Together, they bring extensive hospitality and operational experience to the venue as Conference Aston continues to strengthen its position as one of Birmingham's leading conference and event destinations.

In his new role, Neil Wyatt will oversee the venue's restaurant, bar, kitchen and housekeeping operations, with a focus on enhancing the overall experience for delegates, overnight guests and event organisers. Alongside its established conference catering, Conference Aston is also developing its food and beverage offering, including new dining concepts, the introduction of its Aston Eats street food-style room service, and an increased emphasis on locally sourced produce and sustainability.

Curtis Holloway joins as Facilities Manager and will be responsible for facilities management, health and safety, and a programme of improvement projects across the venue. His appointment supports Conference Aston's continued investment in maintaining high-quality event spaces and delivering an exceptional delegate experience.

The appointments reflect Conference Aston's ongoing commitment to investing in its people, facilities and services, ensuring the venue continues to evolve for meetings, conferences, exhibitions and residential events.

What This Means for Event Organisers

For organisers considering Birmingham, these appointments demonstrate Conference Aston's continued investment in both its hospitality offering and operational excellence. A strengthened leadership team, enhanced catering experience and ongoing venue improvements reinforce its position as a strong choice for conferences, meetings and residential events in the city.
