THE LINE RELAUNCHES ON VICTORIA EMBANKMENT WITH REFRESHED RIVERSIDE EVENT SPACES
Central London riverside venue The Line has officially relaunched its collection of event spaces on Victoria Embankment, unveiling a refreshed identity alongside upgraded event, hybrid and hospitality offerings ahead of the summer season.
Formerly operating under the 58VE identity, The Line now brings together a portfolio of contemporary event spaces designed for conferences, summer parties, receptions, hybrid events and content production, all overlooking the River Thames.
Located just moments from Blackfriars station, the venue has repositioned itself around a more design-led and experience-focused approach, combining panoramic riverside views with integrated technology, sustainability-led interiors and flexible event infrastructure.
The relaunch includes four distinct event spaces: Skyline, Highline, Waterline and Online.
Skyline, situated on the seventh floor, offers a light-filled panoramic event space wrapped in glass with sweeping Thames views, private balconies and a dedicated bar and kitchen. The space accommodates up to 200 guests for receptions and has been designed to support conferences, presentations and large-scale corporate hospitality events.
Highline focuses more heavily on receptions and summer entertaining, pairing an internal lounge and fixed bar with a spacious roof terrace overlooking the river. The venue is expected to become a strong addition to London’s summer party market, particularly for corporate networking and client events.
On the ground floor, Waterline delivers a more practical conference and hybrid event environment, with built-in technology and divisible layouts suited to presentations, seminars and flexible event formats.
The relaunch also introduces Online, a dedicated podcast and content production studio equipped with professional filming, streaming and recording capability as venues increasingly expand into digital and hybrid event delivery.
A major part of the repositioning centres around sustainability and social impact. The venue operates on a profit-for-purpose model, with profits supporting the work of Nesta, the innovation and research foundation focused on social challenges including climate change, health and early years development.
The refreshed spaces also place a stronger emphasis on sustainable design, incorporating recycled and repurposed materials throughout the interiors, alongside integrated technology intended to reduce the reliance on temporary production infrastructure.
Catering across the venue is delivered by FIKA, the B Corp certified hospitality provider focused on sustainable workplace and event catering.
The relaunch positions The Line as a more contemporary and experience-led riverside venue offering within the central London market, balancing large-scale corporate event capability with stronger hospitality, hybrid and content production credentials.
