Village Underground has officially expanded its event offering with the launch of its brand-new rooftop venue, opening one of Shoreditch's most recognisable spaces to private events for the first time.

Located above the iconic Victorian warehouse on Great Eastern Street, the new rooftop brings together an open-air bar with access to Village Underground's famous tube carriages – a distinctive feature of the East London skyline that, until now, has never been available for visitors or event organisers.

The new space has been introduced to meet growing demand for unique outdoor venues and is now available for private hire for summer parties, brand activations, influencer events, product launches, company socials and private celebrations.

The rooftop can also be hired alongside the main Village Underground venue, creating a combined event space capable of accommodating up to 1,000 guests for larger-scale corporate events and live experiences.

Guests can enjoy a relaxed rooftop atmosphere complete with signature cocktails, draught beers, premium spirits, a curated wine selection and freshly made 12-inch pizzas from Bad Boy Pizza Society.

The rooftop is open from Wednesday through Sunday, with early access available for private hire events where required.
