Hayne Devon
Hayne Devon is a creative events venue set amongst the rolling countryside of Mid Devon at Zeal Monachorum. At its heart is a beautifully restored Grade II* listed collection of 17th-century farm buildings, transformed into a contemporary events space while retaining original oak joinery, cob and lime construction and historic character.
The venue combines three interconnected event spaces — the Jacobean Threshing Barn, Oak Glazed Gallery and Dining Room — alongside a south-facing terrace, gardens and grounds. Hayne actively hosts corporate events, training, team building, meetings, conferences, exhibitions, presentations, screenings, launches, retreats, filming and photoshoots, as well as weddings and private celebrations.
Event Spaces
Jacobean Threshing Barn
The principal event space at Hayne, combining original 17th-century architecture with underfloor heating, contemporary lighting and a fully stocked handcrafted bar. The main room has a confirmed maximum capacity of 135 guests and can be configured for conferences, presentations, dinners, parties and performances.
Oak Glazed Gallery
An impressive glazed space connecting the principal areas of the venue. Large doors open directly onto the south-facing terrace, allowing events to flow naturally between indoor and outdoor areas. It works particularly well for receptions, networking, exhibitions, registration and informal breakout space.
Dining Room
A dedicated dining and hospitality space with festoon lighting and a wood-burning stove. It can operate independently or alongside the Threshing Barn and Gallery for dinners, catering, workshops and multi-space corporate events.
South-Facing Terrace
Directly adjoining the Oak Glazed Gallery, the terrace provides an outdoor extension to the venue with countryside views and fire pits. It is suited to drinks receptions, networking, summer events and informal entertaining.
Gardens & Grounds
Hayne's gardens, orchard and paddocks provide extensive outdoor event possibilities. A designated lawn can accommodate a large marquee or tipi, substantially increasing the flexibility of the estate for larger events.

Hayne provides exclusive venue hire, tables and chairs, WiFi, a fully fitted catering kitchen, parking, underfloor heating, event lighting, toilets and showers, fire pits and outdoor event areas. Corporate delegate packages for refreshments and lunch are also available.
