Tawstock Court

Old Refectory

One of Tawstock Court's principal event spaces, the Old Refectory is a flexible, naturally lit room with parquet flooring, neutral décor and a built-in stage. It can transition from conference or dining space during the day to entertainment and dancing in the evening, with direct access to the Main Bar.

Panelled Hall

The historic heart of the house, featuring dark wood panelling, an original fireplace, stained glass and elegant columns. The Hall provides an atmospheric setting for presentations, receptions, ceremonies and corporate hospitality.

Yellow Lounge

A light-filled Georgian drawing room with high ceilings, chandeliers and tall arched windows overlooking the grounds. It works particularly well for smaller meetings, breakout sessions, networking and drinks receptions.

The Study

An intimate historic room featuring original 17th-century panelling, a carved oak fireplace and tall sash windows. The Study is well suited to smaller meetings, executive sessions and breakout use.

Grey Room

A smaller flexible room with period features and natural daylight, suitable for private dining, meetings, workshops and breakout sessions.

Main Bar

A dedicated licensed bar with direct access to the courtyard. The space can support receptions, corporate parties, networking and evening events and includes a log burner for winter functions.

Cocktail Bar

An additional Art Deco-inspired bar provides a more intimate setting for evening hospitality, cocktails and informal networking.

Courtyard

The central courtyard provides an attractive outdoor area for drinks receptions, networking, summer parties and informal entertaining, with seating and extensive decorative lighting.

Gatehouse, Fountain & Grounds

The historic Gatehouse, Fountain terrace, lawns and wider 32-acre estate provide several outdoor options for receptions, activities, team building and photography.
