Stoodleigh Court
Stoodleigh Court is a Victorian Gothic country house set in secluded grounds on the edge of Exmoor, high above the River Exe near Tiverton. The historic property combines original wood panelling, carved interiors and impressive principal rooms with extensive gardens and countryside views, providing a characterful setting for weddings, corporate functions and private celebrations.
Available on an exclusive-use basis, the venue offers six function spaces, including the Great Hall, Dining Room and Library, with individual rooms accommodating up to 150 guests and the venue as a whole able to host events for up to 200. Stoodleigh Court is non-residential, although accommodation is available nearby, including properties that historically formed part of the wider estate.

Great Hall
The Great Hall is one of Stoodleigh Court's principal event rooms, retaining original wood panelling and decorative carvings alongside the house's impressive grand staircase. Seating approximately 100 guests, it provides a striking setting for ceremonies, presentations, receptions and formal gatherings.
Dining Room
A grand period dining room decorated in rich reds and golds and illuminated by chandeliers. The room comfortably seats 100 guests and provides the principal setting for gala dinners, private dining, wedding breakfasts and formal corporate entertaining.
Library
One of the property's larger and most flexible rooms, the Library has a published capacity of up to 150 theatre style and 109 for dining, making it suitable for conferences, presentations, dinners and larger private events.
Principal Reception Rooms
Additional period reception rooms throughout the house provide space for smaller meetings, drinks receptions, breakout sessions and private entertaining. Three rooms within the property are licensed for civil ceremonies.
Gardens & Grounds
Stoodleigh Court's gardens and grounds overlook the surrounding Devon countryside and River Exe valley. They provide space for outdoor receptions, photography, informal entertaining and activities alongside events held within the house.

Stoodleigh Court is located in the village of Stoodleigh near Tiverton, on the edge of Exmoor in Mid Devon. The secluded country setting overlooks the River Exe valley while remaining approximately 20 minutes from Junction 27 of the M5, providing relatively straightforward road access from Exeter, Bristol and the wider South West.
The venue is non-residential, but accommodation is available locally, including the separate Stoodleigh Court Coach House nearby.
