Milling Barn is an exclusive-use countryside event venue set within 30 acres of farmland in rural Hertfordshire, just outside Buntingford. Originally known as one of the county's leading barn wedding venues, Milling Barn has expanded its offering to include conferences, corporate events, networking functions, product launches, awards dinners, team building and private celebrations.

Centred around a beautifully restored 17th-century oak barn and adjoining Dairy Barn, the venue combines rustic character with modern facilities, offering exclusive hire, luxury accommodation, in-house catering and experienced event management. Whether you're planning a business conference or an evening celebration, Milling Barn provides a relaxed yet professional setting within the Hertfordshire countryside.

Event Spaces

Milling Barn

The venue's principal event space accommodates up to 144 guests for dining, 250 standing and can be configured for conferences, presentations, networking events, awards dinners and company celebrations. Featuring exposed oak beams and integrated AV, it provides a spectacular setting for corporate events.

Dairy Barn

A flexible adjoining space ideal for registration, breakout sessions, exhibitions, networking, drinks receptions and catering. The Dairy Barn can also be used independently for smaller corporate events.

Oak Barn

Originally designed for ceremonies, the Oak Barn also provides an excellent environment for presentations, keynote sessions, workshops and product launches with theatre-style layouts.

Gardens & Grounds

The surrounding countryside and 30-acre estate are ideal for outdoor receptions, summer parties, team-building activities and corporate hospitality.
